If till receipts stop printing out of the POS, it may well be a problem with the SubCard software. Requests to print a receipt go from the till, through the SubCard software, and then to the receipt printer. This means that if there is a problem with the SubCard software, the request may never reach the receipt printer, and no receipt will be printed.

Follow the following steps;

  • Close SubShop. Click the green “start” button (bottom left) and navigate to “Programs” and then “Start Up”.
  • Click on “SUBLINK
  • This will run the Subcard link software and either fix the issue, or bring up an error message about not being able to start the software.
  •  If error message is given, reboot the till and see if that fixes the problem, trying “SUBLINK” again if necessary.
  •  If the problem persists, you can re-install Subcard (see separate Knowledge Base item “Installing SubCard on POS”.
