The manual defrost button is circled, press and hold for more than 5 secs will initiate a defrost providing it hasn’t just been on one.

The snowflake LED means it’s currently refrigerating,

When the manual defrost frost starts the LCD panel will show the DEF message and the little defrost icon lights up
