Paul Darlow has provided a basic list if things to check if your store experiences a problem with the internet


Internet issues in Store

  • Check if till is showing up on Log me in?
  • Check the router to see if the router is working. Check the 2 green lights on the router. OK and PP should be solid green. If they are flashing then this could indicate a fault.
  • Try to reboot the router – simply switch on and off
  • If this doesn’t work we can try to reset the router by removing the cable from the O2 socket at the wall. Remove this - count to 5 and replace the cable.
  • This hopefully will re-establish the connection.
  • The final check is to try and scan a subcard – if this works then there must be some internet connection.
